Pola Sebaran Titik Panas (Hotspot) Sebagai Indikator Terjadinya Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan Di Kabupaten Aceh Barat

One of the provinces in Indonesia that experiences forest and land fires every year is Aceh Province. Barat District one districts Province where occur dry season. Forest prevention can be done by utilizing hotspot data for analysis using geographic information systems (GIS). This research aims to analyze distribution hotspots correlation between rainfall as an indicator occurrence West Regency 2014-2019. uses MODIS LAPAN data, cover maps, peat administrative maps from BMKG. The was carried out bivariate pearson test. resuls found there were 576 district with highest number Samatiga District, namely 131 hotspots. most dominant are peatland cover, much 64% swamp scrub area 126 Correlation test results show a negative correlation, decrease followed increase
